SSL preoptimisation fails when Microsoft patch KB3081320 has been applied
Solution Number: S27621
Riverbed have discovered that SSL preoptimisation will fail if you have had installed on a Desktop or Server, MS security patch KB3081320.
Current reports are that after the installation of Microsoft patch KB3081320 the SSL preoptimisation fails.
See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3081320 for more details.
The current workaround is to remove the patch until there is a workaround available. Internally it is tracked in bug 248311 - SMTP-over-SSL optimization has broken with "decryption failed or bad record mac" error after applying Microsoft patch KB 3081320.
Steelhead with SSL preoptimisation enabled.
